  Background introduction

As a top ancient art museum in China, the Shanghai Museum has a large collection of precious bronzes, calligraphy, paintings and ceramic relics, and has extremely high requirements for the temperature and humidity control of the preservation environment. In 2023, the museum launched the "Preventive Protection and Upgrade Plan for Cultural Relics", which requires constant temperature transformation of underground warehouses. After public bidding, Green fish Company (a leading domestic special insulation material supplier) was finally selected to provide it with a new type of cultural relics special insulation system.

  Project Challenge

  1. It needs to meet accurate temperature control of ±0.5℃ for 24 hours

  2. The materials must pass the A-level fire protection certification of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage

  3. The installation process cannot affect the safety of existing cultural relics

  4. Requires 30 years of service life and zero formaldehyde emission

  Bluefish Solution

  1. Material Innovation

Using the patented product "Text-relegated aerogel insulation board", the thermal conductivity is as low as 0.018W/(m·K)

The three-layer composite structure (flame retardant layer + vacuum insulation layer + moisture-proof layer) is only 5cm in thickness, saving warehouse space

  2. Customized services

Design differentiated thermal conductivity parameters according to different exhibition areas such as bronzes and silk fabrics

Develop a detachable modular installation system to achieve "dust-free construction"

  3. Intelligent monitoring

Embed the Internet of Things temperature sensor to connect with the museum BIM system in real time

  Implementation results

Energy consumption is reduced by 42%, saving over 800,000 yuan in annual electricity bill

Successfully passed the 2024 International Museum Association (ICOM) acceptance

Form the industry standard "Technical Specifications for Museum Insulation Systems" (QB/YH 2024)

  Follow-up cooperation

Based on this successful experience, the two sides jointly built the "Joint Laboratory of Cultural Relics and Micro Environments" and expanded to key cultural projects such as the First Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Shanghai Planetarium, with a cumulative application area of more than 120,000 square meters.
